Who we are
Avtomehanika Papež is a car repair shop in Kočevje with over 30 years of experience. We work on vehicles of all makes — from scheduled servicing and oil changes to repairs after a road accident or hailstorm.
Our customers come from Kočevje and the surrounding area; the recovery service covers a wider area and is available 24 hours a day, every day of the week.
How we work
We try to make sure a breakdown or damage holds you up as little as possible. That means three things:
- Everything at one address — mechanics, air conditioning, glass, tyres and wheel alignment. You do not have to drive the vehicle from one place to another.
- We handle the paperwork — we file the claim and prepare all the documentation for the insurer on your behalf, whichever insurer you are with.
- You stay mobile — during the repair we arrange a courtesy vehicle if needed, and if your vehicle cannot be driven, our recovery service comes to collect it.

What we do not do ourselves
We do not carry out body and paint work ourselves — we use an external contractor for that. For you it means you still bring the vehicle to us and we coordinate the repair, while the work itself is done by the contractor we work with.
For air conditioning we carry out inspection, servicing and recharging.
